In the last 18 months we have had great success increasing our export sales and we are now dealing in over 30 countries with significant launches underway at the moment in markets as diverse as Australia and Germany, with plans for a North American launch later this year. Ever increasing demand in Europe in particular has driven the need for additional warehouse space and the new premises are almost double our current warehouse area, allowing room for expansion.

In addition we have increased our quality control and product development departments in the past two years, with all Startrite machines and larger Record Power machines getting individual pre-delivery inspections as well as general work to provide continual improvements in quality across both ranges. The new premises will allow an improved workshop area with much better layout and facilities to house both departments.

We believe we have reached a stage in our development where we can start to leverage the wealth of manufacturing experience and product knowledge within the company to increase our portfolio of UK manufactured products. In addition to progressing our plans to re-shore some of our current production, we are putting increased resource into product development and work is apace on the next generation of machines.

We would like customers to be aware that with immediate effect the current showroom is temporarily closed to allow for relocation of stock. The range of products on display in the new showroom will be limited for a short time after relocation, therefore if you wish to visit our new showroom please call and make an appointment so we can ensure your needs are catered for in advance.

Of course, a building by itself doesn’t make a company successful. The keys to continued and successful growth are our loyal customers whose continued support we are very grateful for, our network of knowledgeable dealers and our fantastic team, many of whom have been with the company over 25 years and some over 40 years. We are delighted all our current staff will be moving the short distance with us to the new premises, meaning we can continue to offer the quality, experience, support and expertise which are the cornerstones of the Record Power brand. This relocation gives us the facility to expand, improve, adapt and develop every facet of the business - we are extremely optimistic for the future and look forward to providing even better products and service.

D&M tools of Twickenham have been extremely busy over the last few months, fully refurbishing their machinery showroom. At the heart of this is the expanded and improved Record Power display. This area now includes a huge range of Record Power's machinery, including lathes, bandsaws, planer thicknessers, table saws and morticers, making this the most impressive display in the South-East of the UK.

In addition, the wide range of accessories and consumable can be bought and seen first-hand, from woodturning accessories and bandsaw blades to planer knives, scroll saw blades and much more.
